What we are looking for

You can publish any article or photograph relating to "back-pack" sports in and around the island state of Tasmania. At this stage we are particularly interested in bushwalking and mountain climbing. However, if you have a good idea - and we like it - we will create a new section to cater for you.

How to submit your work

Wildtiger reserves the right to allow or disallow content.

TRACK NOTES : Stories of your trips, successful or dismal failures. travel distances, water availability, grade of walk. etc.

RELATED ARTICLES : Anything related to "back-pack" sports Tasmania.

PHOTO GALLERY : Top shelf photographers can publish their pictures here.

A TO Z OF HUTS : Digital photos of bush huts.

A TO Z OF PEAKS : Digital photos of mountains. Also known as "photo peak-bagging".

BROADBAND : Short films or mp3 dialogues of adventures in Tasmania.

A TO Z OF WATERFALLS : Digital photo index. Also know as "photo fall-bagging".

A TO Z OF FLORA : Digital image index of flora found in Tasmania. Please provide latin names where possible.

A TO Z OF COASTLINE : Digital photo index.

Submission Requirements

If possible please submit images in .jpg or .gif format at 400px wide or less.

Please try to keep track notes on a non-personal level and provide as many technical and usable details as possible. Including, starting points, getting to starting point, date, difficulty level and 2 digital images or less if possible.

Please provide the name that you would like the work credited to.

DAG OF THE WEEK : You can look pretty rough after a couple of days in the bush. Photograph those ugly looking people!

HEALTH : Any article outlining how you can protect your health in the bush - any doctors out there?

RATE THAT HUT : Is it a palace or a pit? You vote 1 to 5 on the quality of the hut.

WILDTIGER SEARCH : Our own search engine that searches by title, contributor, description, category & content in any of the content headings.

DESKTOPS : Send in your 1024 x 728 / 800 x 600 photos of scenic Tasmania and they may be selected for this category. Your name will appear on the image along with the wildtiger logo and web url - great advertising.

Credit for work

You will get the credit for your work! We require all articles and photos to be credited to your name or a name you publish with. We can also add advertising for you on the pages that are published in your behalf.
